Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition where the cells which line the womb in a female, are found growing outside of it. It is usually not dangerous however; it can cause pain and other problems.

The symptoms of endometriosis include:
Painful and heavy periods
Pelvic pain
Pain during sexual intercourse
Bleeding in between periods
Difficulty in becoming pregnant or infertility

There is no known cure for endometriosis, but the aim of treatment is to ease the symptoms so that the condition does not interfere with your daily life. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor for more details on endometriosis.
