Eczema

Eczema is a common condition that causes the skin to become itchy and sore. It is a long lasting problem, and although an individual may experience long periods where it is not a problem, the eczema can very easily reoccur. Eczema can be caused by irritants to the skin, such as wool, or stressful events. Food may also cause eczema flare ups.

The symptoms include:
Red skin
Itchy skin
Skin can become dry and scaly
Bleeding of the skin if scratched

Eczema can be controlled by simply avoiding offending allergic substance. There are also many topical creams and solutions available from treating eczema. Talk to your pharmacist for more details on the treatments available for eczema.
