Depression


Feeling sad, or down is a common feeling. However, when this feeling of sadness intensifies such that it takes control of your life, it is known as depression.

At this point medical intervention is needed, especially if the individual is having suicidal thoughts (a common symptom of depression)

Other symptoms include:
Persistent sadness
Social withdrawal
Insomnia
Fatigue
Pessimism
