Stress Management

People who don't manage stress well can have headaches, stomach pain, sleeping problems, illness, and depression. You can manage stress by meditating, exercising, talking to others. Some people benefit from taking up a relaxing hobby such as yoga.

Longterm (chronic) stress is the type of stress that causes the most serious problems. It is caused by a host of irritating hassles over a period of time, or an ongoing, difficult situation.

Conditions that may lead to chronic stress include:
Health problems, if you have a chronic illness.
Emotional problems, such as unexpressed or uncontrolled anger, depression, grief, guilt, or low selfesteem.
Relationship problems.

Stress is treatable. Talk to your local pharmacist for more details.
