Kyphosis

Kyphosis is an abnormal outward curving of the spine in the chest area, causing your back to appear even more rounded than usual. This makes your back appear hunched.

The most common causes of kyphosis are:
When the back of the vertebrae (back bones) in the upper part of your spine grows more quickly than the front
Fractures of the bones in your back
In many cases of kyphosis, the symptoms are mild.

Common symptoms include:
Mild back pain,
Tenderness and stiffness in your back, and
Tight muscles in the back of your thighs, which may cause pain.
